Lars Soendergaard

Lars Soendergaard has a long-standing and keen interest in ceramics, inspired by his late uncle, the eminent Danish artist, Reinhold Soendergaard.
In 1981 Lars took up a four-year apprenticeship with Danish pottery studio, Brangstrup Stoneware, after which he worked in Denmark as a potter and designer before moving to London and eventually starting his own studio. In 2000 Lars moved to rural Suffolk.
Lars works within the Scandinavian tradition of design and function, and all his pieces are handthrown in finest English porcelain.
Lars has exhibited at Chelsea Crafts Fair and has a client list that includes Designers’ Guild, Nicole Farhi Home Collection, David Mellor and Toast, among others.
