Nyankopot

Nyankopot pieces are all hand-made by Yoshi in a tiny garden studio in London. Yoshi’s pottery journey began after deciding to make bowls and dishes to serve Japanese food on at home. Nyanko means ‘kitty’ in Japanese, which was inspired by the makers love for cats, and the three cats that she lived with at the time of creating Nyankopot. Cats are also a recurring theme throughout many pieces of her work.
