The Basket Room

The Basket Room is an interiors brand specialising in handwoven storage baskets and accessories for the home. Founded by Camilla Sutton and Holly Dutton in 2014 who met studying fashion design at art college; they later came together after gaining experience in design, production and retail to found The Basket Room.

Working with over 3000 weavers across Kenya, Ghana and East Africa, their goal is to connect the talented weavers with a wider market so that they become less dependent on self-sufficiency farming, which is unreliable during the dry seasons. Every basket is hand-made, unique and shaped by the personality of its creator.
