Who we are

Our collection reflects our passion for the handmade and the artisanal, with a focus on small brands, individual makers, sustainability and ethical manufacture.. Whether it’s an independent publisher using traditional spot-litho printing, black clay ceramic houses inspired by abandoned Hebridean crofts, or raw honey collected from beehives on London rooftops, it is the stories behind the objects and the creativity of the makers that serve as our inspiration.

Frank was founded in 2006 and resides, in its bricks and mortar form, in an old fisherman’s cottage in Whitstable. Both a store and a gallery, our focus is on paper—contemporary prints, books, journals and sustainable stationery—alongside handmade tableware, plants, planters and jewellery, where possible, made in the UK.
